Komoro Castle is known as an “ana-jō” (a castle set into a slope), where parts of the fortifications lie below the surrounding town level. The site is now Kaikoen Park, and its stone walls, gates, and terrain create a unique castle-walking experience. It’s a place where landscape and defense design become one.

Komoro Station is very close, making access easy by train. From the station area, you can walk into Kaikoen and the castle site in minutes—ideal for a quick stop or a longer, scenic visit.

Parking is available around Kaikoen and nearby facilities, generally paid. During seasonal events (especially spring and autumn), allow extra time for parking and crowds.
